The Importance of
Choosing the Right Examiner

Training

Private polygraph examiners who were not trained federally may have attended any number of polygraph schools across the country which may only meet the minimum standards and offer second-rate training. Similarly, these local schools may not have received the approval of the American Polygraph Association (APA).

Dr. Beyer is a graduate of the National Center for Credibility Assessment (NCCA), the country’s premier polygraph training facility. As opposed to some of the mediocre polygraph training facilities which teach only the most basic level of polygraph instruction and techniques, Dr. Beyer attended the nearly four-month training regimen of graduate level instruction provided at the NCCA. Furthermore, Dr. Beyer was subjected to a year-long internship period at the Federal Bureau of Investigation where he was supervised by senior polygraph examiners before being certified as an FBI Polygraph Examiner.

By hiring Federal Polygraph Investigations, you can be assured that you are receiving the best and most professional polygraph experience available in the State of Michigan.

Suitability of Polygraph Students

Some polygraph training facilities do not require their students to have a degree from an accredited college or university. Similarly, they may not require their students to have any experience with interviewing or interrogation prior to their selection.

As a graduate of the National Center for Credibility Assessment (NCCA), Dr. Beyer was employed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, he possesses a Bachelor’s Degree, two Master’s Degrees, and a Ph.D. In addition, he was subjected to a thorough background investigation, and was required to pass a federal polygraph examination before attending the federal polygraph school.
